This class is designed to introduce
both the beginning bellydance
student as well as the "cabaret"
style bellydancer to the Tribal
Fusion style of bellydance.
Basic to intermediate movements will
be taught and drilled
(with a focus on the muscular control unique
to Tribal). Steps
from ATS (American Tribal Style), Egyptian "cabaret,"
Tribal
Fusion, and even ballet and jazz will be integrated in technique
lessons, drills, and eventually a short choreography. A brief
history of
bellydance (with the origins of Tribal style in San

give context to our dance.

Come learn the technique
and stylization of Tribal Fusion Bellydance
in a warm, friendly,
and open environment. Cabaret, ATS, and

and is geared toward the intermediate level dancers with
additional modifications for the more advanced dancer.
